Things are old as fuck, but you know peavey.Gigrac 600 is capable of 220 watts per channel into 8 ohms. The speakers are Peavey 1210TS. I am also including a mic stand, a mic cable, and an old Shure mic with a switch on it. I am including the power cable and two wicked long speaker cables. Gigrac 300 head is 300 watts at 4ohms Has built in effects and graphic eq.

If you take a stereo power amp, and give it a stereo signal (any mp3, for example), and run the amp at the same volume on both sides, plug one side into a BR12, and the other into an S112V, and ask the listener which is "louder", they will tell you the S112V is louder. Or sell your whole system to someone and get a decent little mixer to go with your new QSC speakers.I think you missed the part where I said "perceivabley"Ill revert back to my example of the Yamaha speakers simply because I give this demo repeatedly at my shop, as I sell a LOT of Pro Audio products. Set your mic preamps gains right and run your mixer so you are getting the most out of it you can without clipping.A pair of QSC K12's would get you where you need to be and you can use the passive output off your Gigrac. RACK BOLT-GIGRAC GR300/600/900.As I said before, you need speakers that can handle more power and an amp that can produce more power to get louder.The main thing with your current system is to make sure you are optimizing gain structure. That's all I was implying.However, OP, if you're doing an acoustic gig, and may in the future need more power than what you have available, I have a recommendation for you. Much like a good EQ, by boosting and cutting the right frequencies, the mix is less "muddy" and has the perception from the listener that it is more "loud".Clarity might be the issue here, where as volume may not.
